About me...

As long as I can remember, music has been the language of my heart and soul, the way I communicate with myself and the world around me.

I have extensive experience in various fields of music, which enables me to write music for any type of genre and style.

II have the following formal qualifications:

* BA in Drama & Performing Arts

* Higher Educational Diploma (Drama, English, Practical Music)

* UNISA Teacher's Licentiate in Singing

* UNISA Piano Grade 8

* UNISA Theory of Music Grade 7

* UNISA Violin Grade 6

* UNISA Recorder Flute Grade 3

All my life I have been singing in choirs and ensembles, including the Bloemfontein Children's Choir and the Free State Youth Choir, and performing with the women's a capella group "Verbal Bath". I also played violin in the Free State Youth Orchestra.

As solo artist, I have performed at numerous corporate and private functions, weddings, birthdays, etc with singing, piano and violin playing, as well as concerts and shows at theatres and restaurants in and around Pretoria.

I have recorded a CD, "Hope", featuring my own written and composed songs.

For the past 15 years I have taught singing at Cornwall Hill College, the Tygerpoort Art School, and at my own studio. I have also teached Drama, Piano, Music Appreciation Classes and Recorder Flute. I also assist in tuition of voices in choirs.

Having the ability to transcribe notes and music that I hear directly to paper or computer without having the necessity to play or sing it, enables me to arrange and compose music by heart, and I love every moment of doing it.
